London Fine Art Gallery

My name is Callum Oconell and I am fortunate to be located on the Isle of Wight. Although I was born and raised near Birmingham, in my twenties I relocated to London, where I worked as a gas engineer in the heart of the city. Photography was simply a pastime for me, and I would often venture out with a couple of friends on Boris bikes, exploring London for hours on end in search of unique photo opportunities. Regardless of the weather, there was always something fascinating to capture. I now consider myself lucky to have my dream job. My preferred time to venture out with my camera is in the early mornings, when the world appears to be deserted and it feels as if everyone except for me is still asleep. It is then that I can witness the sunrise and capture a sense of serenity. My favourite mornings are those where a colourful sky is accompanied by floating fog.
